Completed - Rebels 13u Tryouts for Spring/Summer 2019

The AC/North Bay Rebels 13u team recently completed two tryouts looking to fill a couple of openings for the 2019 spring and summer team. Thanks to all the families and boys that came out to the tryouts. We had 18 kids tryout....Lots of good talented boys. Selections will be made in the next couple of weeks 

 

A big thank you to CageWerx, the new indoor baseball/softball training facility located in Fairfield, for hosting both tryouts due to wet field conditions.

13u team on break until Spring 2019

On September 8-9, 2018, the 13u completed its last tournament and the team is currently on break for the fall and winter and will resume in Spring 2019

13u Rebels end their 2018 season winning two straight tournaments

The Rebels 13u team ended their year with a bang, winning their last two tournaments. 

On August 25-26, 2018, the 13u boys competed in the All World "Line Drives" Tournament in Petaluma, and went 5-0 for the weekend and won the championship, beating Hand Picked Baseball 9-5 in the championship game.

On September 8-9, 2018, the 13u team headed back up to Petaluma and played in the All World "Slug Fest" Tournament and went 4-0 and won the championship, beating Athletic Edge (Navy) 11-3 in the championship game.

The 13u team will now shut down for the fall and winter and take a rest and do other things. The team will pick back up in Spring 2019

Rebels end 12u season making it to Championship game

The Rebels 12u team came off a 3 week break after their Cooperstown trip to play in their last tournament as a 12u team on July 29-29, 2018. They played in the All World  "End of Season Finale"  tournament at Mission College in Santa Clara. 

On Saturday, they played two games in pool play. In the first game, they beat the Aldrete Baseball 17-0. In their second pool play game, they lost to the Oakland Wolves 6-0. The 1-1 record earned them a #3 seed going into bracket play on Sunday.

 

Sunday, the Rebels beat #6 seed The Show 9-2 in the quarterfinal game. They then moved on to play #2 seed All American Baseball in the semi final game and ended up winning 13-10. 

The face the South Bay Royals in the championship game and just couldn't get their bat together and ended up losing 8-0 in the championship game. 

Great 1st tournament back for the Rebels boys, following their 3 week summer break after Cooperstown.

Rebels 13u End of Season Team Party

The Rebels 13u boys and their families came together a few weeks ago to celebrate their season with a year end party.  Boys showed off their bowling skills, and a few of the parents tried to show theirs too!!! Good times reminiscing about the successful year and enjoying each other's company

The Rebls 13u boys have started their off season workouts this month an the boys are working on core and strength training at Dan Foley Park couple nights a week. it's been great for them to strengthen their bodies as well as hang out with their teammates!!

End of Season Recap for North Bay Rebels 13u

This was a big year for the North Bay Rebels. The highlight of the year was their trip to Cooperstown, NY to play in the Cooperstown All Start Village tournament  on June 16-22.

On September 8-9, the boys completed their 2018 season, so we look back to their 2018 season as a whole .

The boys started playing in late February as a 12u team and played in 10 tournaments (with 44 games) and 13 friendly games against other travel/Pony league teams through September 2018. On August 1st they aged up to be a 13u team and competed in August and September as a 13u team .

In the 10 tournaments they have played in this season, they have made it to 4 championship games, and won 2 championships.  In addition, they made it to the semi final game 3 additional times, but lost in the semi finals. Overall, their tournament record in the 10 tournaments is 26-16-2. Their record in friendly games is 9-3-1. Overall, their record this season in the 57 games they played was 35-19-3.

The boys ended their 12u campaign on July 31st, ranked 

All World - 29th out of 194 California teams (12u AA)

USSSA  - 120th out of all 306 California teams (12u AA)

USSSA - 40th out of the 125 Northern California team (12u AA)

The boys are taking a break for the fall and winter, starting on September 10th. They are 2 months into the 13u campaign and are currently ranked 1st out of 84 teams (13u AA) in all of California in All World rankings. Pretty impressive!!
